I grew up directly across the street from the Wildwood Forest. Every spare childhood moment was spent exploring that wonderful sanctuary. On my visits by the old homestead, it seemed as if time had stood still. I live far away and will rarely, if ever, walk the trails again. But the importance of knowing that it is there for today’s children and future generations cannot be underestimated.
